Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana offers free resources, including counseling and support groups, a Breast Cancer Support app and 170+ monthly programs both in-person and online.

Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana – with locations in Louisville, KY (Highlands, West Louisville) and Southern Indiana (Clark and Floyd counties) – is an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community.

Free individual counseling and group support is available for anyone impacted by cancer, including those in active treatment, caregivers, cancer survivors, friends and family, and those grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer.

Participation in counseling and support groups is free and requires completion of brief form and conversation with a licensed mental health professional.

Participation in all other Gilda’s Club Kentuckiana programs is free and does not require membership. No paperwork is required.

  • Nutrition classes explore beneficial foods during active treatment and healthy snacks.
  • Wellness activities include full-body fitness, yoga, Pilates, tai chi, qigong, mediation, and reiki.
  • Art offerings include themed painting nights, Open Art Studio, fiber art, knitting, crochet, jewelry-making, and journaling.
  • Relaxing social events include Bingo, Trivia Night, Book Nook, holiday parties and a monthly Brunch.

The MyCancerSupport – Breast Cancer app combines educational content from Medscape Oncology and WebMD Education with content and resources from the Cancer Support Community.

Breast cancer patients can use the Breast Cancer Support App to access educational information, receive in-app messaging relevant to a cancer diagnosis, read content to help navigate breast cancer, and connect with a supportive, informed community.

Breast cancer treatment providers can use the Breast Cancer Support App to access free educational CEUs, receive disease and treatment-specific information, and provide patient support in real-time using the companion app.
