Story Time Massage Group

Join us for a special class designed for individuals undergoing cancer treatment and their children or grandchildren. This class combines the benefits of nurturing touch with engaging stories and classic nursery rhymes, fostering connection and comfort. Children also can learn simple massage techniques to share with loved ones. Led by a licensed massage therapist, this class provides a supportive space for families. Caregivers and children ages 12 weeks and older are welcome. Adult attendees are responsible for supervision of children. Please bring a comfortable blanket or yoga mat. Moe has woven her spiritual and medical backgrounds into a focus on Medical Reiki. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to event. Gilda's Club has been a safe haven, a second family, and a wonderful experience for me. I have laughed, cried, and learned so much.
Gilda’s is an extension of my family in a way I would never have expected. It’s made such a positive impact on my family and me.
I didn't choose to get cancer; it chose me. At Gilda's, I've learned that cancer doesn't define who I am, what I can do, or how to live my life. I'm still in charge of me as I walk this journey learning to live with cancer, and not for cancer.
The support I've received has been invaluable and it's comforting to know I'm surrounded by people who truly understand the cancer journey and are there to support me every step of the way.
As a person caring for a loved one with cancer, I cannot recommend Gilda’s enough to others. Gilda’s left me more informed and less alone. It’s a vital resource.
Gilda’s saved me when my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer. Gilda’s became an emotional lifeline. To be surrounded by those with similar stories was invaluable. After he passed, I joined the bereavement group and learned to navigate how to live with loss.
