Giving back to your community has never been more fun

Providing over 170 program offerings a month and serving nearly 1,600 members in our community living with cancer means we need you! With a 50 to 1 ratio of volunteers to paid staff, we literally couldn’t keep our red doors open without people like you.

Group Volunteer Project: Host a Meal!

You and your group plan and purchase the menu, serve the meal, and tidy up afterward. It’s our biggest and most helpful project for groups. No volunteer welcome is required for this opportunity.

Sponsor a Meal for Members

Volunteer work comes in all forms. You don’t have to be a culinary master. If you would like to support our members by providing a meal, but are not able to shop, cook and serve, you can now sponsor a meal for members!

We appreciate your time, and we do love our food, so check out the meal categories below. Simply select the meal you’d like to sponsor and click the link to make your donation. On the date of your meal, we’ll purchase, prepare and serve the food in your name. You may also Sponsor A Meal for Members in honor or remembrance of a loved one.

You, your company, or loved one will be recognized for your donation during the meal. All donations for Sponsor A Meal for Members are tax-deductible.

To get started, please contact Jennifer Webb, at jennifer@gck.org or 502.583.0075.

We have so many other volunteer roles. Here is a preview of some of the things you can do to help families living with cancer at Gilda’s Club:

Gilda's Greeters
Workshop Facilitators
Clubhouse Hosts
Noogieland Support
Special Events Team
Summer Camp Counselors
Ambassadors & Outreach
Art Class Assistants
Behind the Scenes Crew
and lots more!

Get involved today by completing our volunteer information form. After that, you’ll be prompted to sign up for a Volunteer Welcome 101 session, held once a month. You’ll get a tour of the building, learn about who we are and what we do, and about how volunteers help us.
